Private Cremation:
The Cremation of one pet. Only one pet inside the crematorium throughout
the entire cremation cycle. No other pets are placed in the crematorium
until all cremated remains from the previous cremation has been removed.
The remains are put in an decorative
urn / tin.
A certificate of cremation / pamphlet on helping you to cope with the loss
of your pet.
Communal Cremation:
The cremation of more than
one pet at a time. Our Authorization form states that a maximum of 20
pets can be in the crematorium during a Group cremation, it is more
likely that our average Group cremation will have 10 to 12 pets. Anytime
there are more than one pet inside the crematorium there will be
commingling of cremated remains. The Group cremated remains are swept
clean from the crematorium, and in accordance with the Will County Land
Use Department, are scattered in our Pet Cemetery for memorization.
What is Cremation?
Cremation is the process
whereby a pet's remains are consumed by intense heat, reducing the body
to it's basic element, calcium.
